Castle Fine Art- London

I visited Castle Fine Art on South Molton street in London. Featuring many amazing pieces of contemporary artwork in an urban space made the viewing experience a joy to walk through.

The use of the gallery space flowed well and was made easy to make your way round. Down the spiral staircase led to more of the artwork into a very relaxed environment where you could spend as much time as you liked viewing the wonderful pieces.

I was particularly drawn towards this piece of art not just at a first glance but from reading the statement underneath and how it was painted. Reverse painting is something I had never heard of before which interested me. The painting itself was very impressive too and the white border within the frame drew the eye to look closer into the details. another unique aspect of this art work is how it is framed and mounted but the image is actually floating off the mount, leaving a shadow around it which I found interesting.
