Website Influences- Isabel Boaden

Before I build my website, I wanted to look at ones that are already out there including professionals that fit well with my own practice and even ones that don’t, maybe ones that just have a good design.

A former student at the University of Huddersfield, Isabel Boaden is one I looked at.

What I found when browsing this website was that it was very clean, all white background, same font on every page, everything is accessible. However, in terms of actual photographs, there wasn’t many. This may have been a purposeful decision so that it is not overcrowded with too many images however, I feel a website should be a place to showcase all your best work that can be seen by anyone that chooses to view your website.
