Collaborations With Makeup Artist And Photographer

Although it is good to be able to plan direct, style and shoot being a photographer it is also a good idea to start working collaboratively enabling the photographer to focus soley on just taking the photographs. For my project I chose to work with a fellow peer on my course to work together on a shoot. Our work wasn’t too dissimilar as I am doing fashion and she is doing beauty. We then decided to get in touch with a makeup artist. This could elevate our projects and make us feel more confident about the photoshoot.

We discussed what type of makeup would match each outfit that the model would be wearing. Using this creativity was a key skill in ensuring the final images were of a high standard.
