Portfolio Review- Megan Mechelle Dalton, 7th April

On the 7th of April we had our final portfolio review day and I chose Megan Dalton to review my work and website. I loved hearing advice from Megan as she was a recent graduate also studying photography at the University of Leeds and is just getting herself into the photography industry. Her practice is relevant to mine as she also did fashion photography as her final project at university. Her main tips from the review was:

· Have an open mind about what you want to go into in the future. Saying you only want to do fashion photography could close off any jobs you may be approached to do that are totally different.

· Have an overview page on the home page which shows a snippet of all images instead of just the fashion ones

· Working as a fashion photographer is a lot less pay than working for a newspaper in her experience.

These are tips I will take on board when progressing further with my project.
