Portfolio Review- Sophie Traynor, 3rd March

On the 3rd of march portfolio reviews took place in university after our final interim show to give us advice on how to improve our projects further with deadlines closing in. As my project is a fashion commercial portfolio, Sophie Traynor had a look at my work.

Her main tips for me to improve was:

· Instead of shooting the same poses over and over again, research different fashion campaigns and how they break up different shots. For example, how many mid shots they do compared to full body and focusing in on the actual product that’s being sold.

· To stop images from looking like E-commerce, bring in props, shoot on location, bringing people into context.

Following on from this review session I am going to try and incorporate this to elevate my work even further.
